What is the difference between a “Static” load capacity and a “Dynamic” load capacity?
A “Static” load capacity of a pallet refers to the amount of weight a pallet can handle when it is resting on the floor.
A “Dynamic” load capacity of a pallet refers to the amount of weight a pallet can handle when it is being transported by a fork lift truck. Since the 2 forks are bearing the brunt of the load the dynamic capacity of a pallet is always much less than a pallet’s static load capacity.
