Interesting name for a company, what is the significance?

The name Cherry’s Industrial Equipment is the namesake of the founder, Bud Cherry. Bud founded the company in 1982 when he introduced the stand-alone 180° Pallet Inverter to the US market for turning over palletized bagged product so that broken bags could be replaced.
