Lightweight, hygienic, and built to run on your lines. The P3 is a reusable, flow-through pallet with a smooth, washable surface and a full-stringer bottom for stable stacking. It integrates easily with manual and automated equipment and has been performance-tested at the Virginia Tech Center for Packaging and Unit Load Design, where it outperformed comparable wood pallets across storage, palletization, shipment, transport, and receipt.

The 40"×"48"P3 pallet is a lightweight, stackable, hygienic, and durable solution that works seamlessly with both manual and automated material‑handling equipment. Tested at the Virginia"Tech Center for Packaging and Unit‑Load Design, the P3 outperformed traditional wood pallets across a range of metrics—including idle pallet storage, palletization, shipment, transportation, and receipt. Its plastic, flow‑through design features a full‑stringer bottom and optional accessories such as grommets, steel reinforcement, and interlocking grommet heads that reduce load shifting and product damage while improving stability when pallets are stacked. The pallet offers four‑way entry for fork trucks and hand trucks, is fully recyclable at the end of its service life, and can be edge‑rackable in the 40‑inch direction (with reinforcements available in that direction).

Stackable Plastic Pallet Applications

Because of their ability to maximize limited storage space, stackable pallets are ideal for material handling operations that need to make the most out of a confined area. The plastic material can also ensure compliance with USDA and FDA regulations, making these pallets an excellent choice for industries such as food service, frozen foods and cold storage, meat/poultry processing and pharmaceuticals.

You can also recycle stackable plastic pallets, which meets the needs of companies seeking to reduce their long-term equipment costs and become better stewards of the environment.

Benefits of Owning and Using Stackable Plastic Pallets

There are numerous advantages to integrating stackable plastic pallets into your material handling processes. By maximizing space in your facility, they can give you more room for the equipment and machinery you need to grow your operation. A forklift can lift and load several stackable pallets at once, which can save time and significantly lower your labor costs. The lightweight design and construction also make the pallets easier to handle and reduces the risk of back injuries during lifting.

Because they are made of plastic, these pallets are less susceptible to contamination — there are no cracks or crevices that can trap bacteria or promote mold growth. Plastics pallets are also easy to clean either by hand or machine, allowing you to put them back into service quickly after each use. And plastic has a surprisingly long lifespan — you won't need to replace pallets as often, which will lower your long-term equipment costs.

Why Choose Stackable Plastic Pallets Over Other Types?

These pallets also offer several advantages over other pallet types. Unlike wood pallets, for example, they do not contain splinters, nails or sharp edges that can damage goods or injure your employees. They are also more durable than nestable plastic pallets. What's more, stackable pallets do not have the surface variations that are common in other pallet versions, which can ensure uniform stacking and greater load stability during transport.
