Compact PSR

The Compact PSR (Pallet Spacer Recovery) system is an engineered, space-efficient solution designed to safely and consistently remove pallet spacers from unitized loads of boxed product. Purpose-built for facilities with constrained floor space, refrigerated or freezer environments, and moderate throughput requirements, the Compact PSR reduces manual handling, improves ergonomics, and delivers repeatable pallet transfer performance. At the core of the system is a 45-degree deep-V tilting cradle that stabilizes the load during spacer separation. This deep-V geometry helps maintain load integrity while allowing frozen or bonded spacers to release cleanly without shifting or product damage. Once separated, the system provides 90-degree load rotation, allowing operators to efficiently transition the load from vertical to horizontal orientation for pallet exchange and downstream handling. The Compact PSR features a 50" x 50" loading table equipped with a tapered 4" apron, guiding pallet entry and improving forklift or powered pallet jack alignment. The system accommodates loads up to 90 inches in height with a maximum capacity of 3,000 pounds, making it well-suited for most grocery, food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods applications. An integrated powered skate table with an added pallet notch assists in smooth pallet transfer, reducing resistance during pallet removal and replacement. This design minimizes operator effort while ensuring controlled, predictable movement of the load during the pallet change process. Operation is managed through a dedicated control console with clearly labeled push buttons for: Stand-up, Lay-back, Skate table left, Skate table right The electrical system includes a robust electrical panel with manual motor starter, with an optional main disconnect featuring over-current protection to meet plant safety standards and electrical compliance requirements.
